No matter what type of job you hold, wearing the appropriate clothing is very important. You will want to look your best and feel your best at your job. Basically, wearing distracting clothing or jewelry is not appropriate to wear at the office.
You want to present yourself as looking professional, yet not over dressed for an office job. Believe it or not the style, color, and the length of the clothing you wear can affect the way people pursue you at work, so you do not want to wear anything gaudy or flashy.

There are defiantly certain things to avoid wearing to the office, such as outfits that are too sexy looking, see though clothing, and miniskirts. Never wear jeans, tennis shoes, or shorts unless the employer specifically says it is okay to wear that day. Other things to avoid are clothes that are too baggy, clothes that are wrinkled, or sloppy looking clothing
