No matter what type of job you hold, wearing the appropriate clothing is very important. You will want to look your best and feel your best at your job. Basically, wearing distracting clothing or jewelry is not appropriate to wear at the office.
You want to present yourself as looking professional, yet not over dressed for an office job. Believe it or not the style, color, and the length of the clothing you wear can affect the way people pursue you at work, so you do not want to wear anything gaudy or flashy.
Colors have meanings and can tell a lot about a person.Confused? Here ‘s a little help . Generally red is considered to be an aggressive color, while gray tends to be a conservative color. Navy blue means trustworthy, while the color black means chic. Skirts with low healed shoes are an excellent choice of clothing to wear to the office, along with pantsuits made up of light colors such as lilac, light pink or blue or even ivory are good choices.
Never wear bunched up jewelry, dangling earrings, or too many bracelets. Instead opt for something simpler like single bracelets or stud earrings. Always try to wear light make-up, a nice but easy hair style, and keep your nails cleaned and polished.
There are defiantly certain things to avoid wearing to the office, such as outfits that are too sexy looking, see though clothing, and miniskirts. Never wear jeans, tennis shoes, or shorts unless the employer specifically says it is okay to wear that day. Other things to avoid are clothes that are too baggy, clothes that are wrinkled, or sloppy looking clothing
